Rising Stars League 2027
We are inviting elite U16 school and club teams from England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, USA, Canada, India, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, and across the globe to compete in Sri Lanka's premier junior cricket championship.
This is more than just a tournament—it is a 12-day journey of professional-grade cricket, cultural discovery, and team bonding in one of the world's most passionate cricketing nations.
Professional Competition Standards
Tournament Format
Age Group
- U15
- Players must be born on or after 31 December 2012.
- Proof of age is mandatory.
Match Ball
- White Ball format.
Tournament Structure
- Round-robin group stage.
- Knockout Semi-Finals and Finals.
- Plate Tournament for teams eliminated after the initial knockout stage.
Guaranteed Matches
- Every participating team is guaranteed a minimum of five matches.
Venues
- Matches will be played at prestigious cricket venues featuring high-quality turf wickets and professionally maintained outfields.
U15 Competition Regulations
Pace Bowling Restrictions
- Adhere to ICC junior cricket bowling workload guidelines to protect young fast bowlers.
Fielding Restrictions
- Standard powerplay fielding restrictions will apply for all 20-over matches.

Is it safe to travel?
Absolutely. Sri Lanka is a hospitable and safe destination. Each team is assigned a dedicated local Liaison Officer who stays with the group 24/7 to manage logistics, safety, and on-ground support throughout the tour.
What about food and water?
We use carefully selected 4-star and 5-star hotels that cater to international teams. Meals are buffet-style, offering a wide variety of Western options such as pasta, chicken, and potatoes, alongside mild local cuisine. Unlimited bottled mineral water is provided for all matches and travel.
How do we handle the heat?
Sri Lanka has a warm climate during the tournament period. Match schedules include additional hydration breaks to ensure player safety. Teams are also advised to use the first two days as an acclimatisation period, which is already built into the itinerary.
